Poor Lighting on Main Street - A Safety Concern

I'm writing to express my concern about the inadequate street lighting along Main Street, especially between Maple and Oak avenues. It gets very dark in the evening, making it difficult for pedestrians to see the sidewalk clearly and for drivers to see pedestrians.

This is a major safety issue. I've personally tripped on uneven pavement there at night. We need more, brighter streetlights installed as soon as possible. This would improve safety for everyone, including children walking home from evening activities and residents taking an evening stroll.
